Is-sinjal għal ITTESTJA NEGATTIV għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal ITTESTJA b’id waħda forma ta’ L bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. Il-werrej igħaddi ħafif fuq il-ġbin u kif joħroġ mal-ġenb tar-ras jingħalaq fil-forma ta’ T. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal NEGATTIV. Id waħda tieqaf bis-swaba’ jippuntaw ’il fuq waqt li l-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u l-werrej jistrieħ orizzontali fuq il-pala tal-id il-wieqfa.
The sign for TEST NEGATIVE (vb) has two parts. (i) First the sign for TEST is made with one hand in the shape of L with palm facing inwards. The index finger touches the forehead lightly as it moves along it and as soon as it moves beside the head forms the shape of T. (ii) Then the sign for NEGATIVE is made. One hand is held upright with fingers pointing upwards and palm facing the side. The other hand takes the shape of 1 with palm facing downwards and the index finger rests horizontally on the palm of the stationary hand.
